Holodomor Remembrance Day
25.11.2023
Vancouver, Canada
We are inviting you to come and support a Political Manifestation with Art Performance on November 25th at 15:00 near the Art Gallery in Vancouver Square. Together we will remind ourselves and society the price that can be paid if terror and bad regimes will win the light and democracy. We will stand for the remembrance of victims of Holodomor genocide and political repressions in Ukraine.
The 90th anniversary of the Holodomor serves as a stark reminder that history is repeating itself. Russia, once again, commits similar atrocities. Human rights experts and international lawyers have collected undeniable evidence revealing Russia's preparations for the Holodomor in Ukraine, even before the military invasion. Their active involvement in stealing grain stocks aimed to deprive the Ukrainian population of food has been exposed.
We stand united to remind the world that Russia remains a terrorist and aggressor state. The war in Ukraine continues, and Ukrainians continue to bravely defend their country and uphold global democracy.
Join us at Vancouver Square as we hold a political performance led by Roksolana Ughryniuk. Together, we will light candles in memory of the victims of the Holodomor and political repressions.
