Ternopil Regional Art Museum1 Krushelnytskoyi Str.

Exhibition of the results of the International program of art exchange residency programs – NVAIR/Ukraine-Germany We invite you to see and feel the meanings captured by the young artists from Ukraine and Germany among the fields of Travneve village in Ternopil region. The authors: Roksolana Uhryniuk (Lviv), Bohdan Svyrydov (Cherkasy), Angela Geisenhofer (Munich), Kateryna Kobylynska (Kyiv) Curator of the program – Liudmyla Nychai Close your eyes and listen to the field. There is an enormous number of productive sounds, which compose a silence altogether. What are the villages silent about, as well as the people in relative isolation and temporary incomers of the art program? Things, which are visible from the aside, are completely lost in perspective. What do territories live for here and now? Which inconsistencies and productivities do routine actions and reflections consist of? Artists - participants of the program - have been exploring Travneve village from various angles and through their themes for the whole month. They have overbuilt new impressions to confirm or object to the expectations. Bohdan Svyrydov reflects on the exchange of time, in other words, life, for the material assets. Roksolana Uhryniuk speaks about the abandoned villages and the reason for overlooking the value of their history. Kateryna Kobylyanska considers reducing the influence of paradoxes. Angela Heisenhofer whispers about the levels of vulnerability and feminine tenderness.Read more about the artists and the program: https://www.facebook.com/Nazar.Voitovich.Art.Residence/
